Our Family of Critters

As a small farm, we endeavor to provide quality Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Miniature Donkeys, German Shepherd Puppies and Karakachan Livestock Guardians puppies for those who want protection for themselves (German Shepherds), for their livestock (Karakachans), or for just the fun of having animals for children or adults.

The Nigerian Dwarf goat is a miniature dairy goat breed of West African ancestry. Originally brought to the United States on ships, they originally lived in zoos. Nigerian Dwarf goats are popular as pets and family milkers due to their easy maintenance and small stature.

Miniature donkeys are 9 hands (36 inches, 91 cm) or less at the withers when fully grown, and are usually measured in inches. In the 20th century, donkeys came to be more frequently kept as pets in the United States and in other wealthy nations.

German Shepherds are working dogs developed originally for herding sheep. Since that time, however, because of their strength, intelligence, trainability and obedience, German Shepherds around the world are often the preferred breed for many types of work, including search-and-rescue, police and military roles and even acting. The German Shepherd is the second-most popular breed of dog in the United States.

The Karakachan Dog is one of Europe’s oldest breeds. Its ancestors started forming as early as the third millennium BC. A typical Mollos, created for guarding its owner’s flock and property, it does not hesitate to fight wolves or bears or coyotes to defend its owner and his family in case of danger.
